Thanks for letting me know of my distant
relation in NZ ,hello Jan Cannam.
My uncle eddy was a great guy, we often would
go mushroom picking together, down the fields around the Welland. He had a
rule who ever saw it first would claim it - he usually finished up with
more mushrooms.
Yes great childhood memories of Cottingham. I
also spent alot of time fishing the Welland. East Carlton park was good
for conkers. The Dale was a good place for sledging when it snowed. Also
spent a lot of time standing at the cross with the locals.
