Hi Jane,
It's about 18 months since I last looked in at
your site and it just gets better and better. What a goldmine it is. I
loved all the new photographs which give a really good impression of
clothing styles and housing in the early 1900s. I've had no news of my
Cross relatives from Cottingham but I've not been trying very hard on that
line. I looked for family likenesses in the faces of the men in the pics
but ...well...maybe...perhaps not!
I found a small typo which you may want to
change at your leisure. The picture of the Crown Inn says 1950s and should
have said 1900s.
